Safetynet Children and Youth Charities provides several services to support families in Halton or Peel region, offers assistance to those facing difficulties and hardship. Relocated recently to 1317 Spears Road.
Free of charge clothing for infants to adults, including business suits and work clothes. Must call to arrange appointment. Open Monday to Friday 9:30am till 1pm. Call around 9:30am because they book quickly.
Diaper bank provides free diapers based on availability. Please call ahead to make an appointment.
Good quality used furniture provided free of charge. There is a delivery charge of $200 to $300 to the curb. Add additional 50% for delivery inside your place.

Only new beds are available, each bed includes mattress, box, six small legs. There is no frame. The costs are:
Free refurbished bicycles are available for children. $10 for pre-teen and $20 for youth and adult bikes. Please call to request ahead of time and state the height and gender of your child. The bicycles must be delivered along with the furniture, see above.

Free tutoring to children and youth experiencing difficulties with their academics. Provided one to one with each student. Tutoring is available Monday to Friday from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm, and Saturday 9:30 am till 2:30 pm. Contact office for an assessment.
Free individual music lessons to children and youth whose families cannot afford musical instruction. Lessons offered include piano, guitar, violin, drums, and vocal instruction. Music lessons are offered daily for half hour sessions, and are held on Monday-Friday from 4:00 - 7:00, Saturdays 9:30 am - 2:30 pm.
