Provides food to the community of western Mississauga living in the area codes L5M, L5L and L5N. 41% of their clients are children.
You can use our Food Bank services once a month to receive 7 to 10 days of nutritionally balanced food, depending on the supplies available. The amount of food you will receive is based on your family size. If you are in an extreme emergency situation, you may be able to obtain food twice a month for a short period of time.
You can get an assortment of fresh vegetables and fruits picked up the same day from Ontario Food Terminal. Small box costs $10 and a large one costs $20. Order must be placed by 4 pm on Thursday, and the pickup is available on Friday. One of the pickup locations is at Meadowvale Town Center. Use following link to view samples:
The kitchen serves the community by providing cooking courses for food bank users. You can learn about nutrition and improve your practical cooking skills.
